Job description

Woodruff Arts Center employees play an integral role in creating and supporting great art and education initiatives at the nation's third largest arts center. Comprised of three Art Partners-Alliance Theatre, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and High Museum of Art-there's a role for everyone at The Woodruff.

The Event Staff will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests visiting the Woodruff Arts Center as well as its employees. This position is responsible for welcoming guests, assist guests that are arriving and entering through the EVOLV system, answering questions, scanning tickets, and guiding guests to their seats. The Event Staff will also be responsible for assisting the Event Supervisor and Event Manager with any additional duties and responsibilities as requested.
Work Schedule:
Schedule will vary and is based on Atlanta Symphony Orchestra/Atlanta Symphony Hall LIVE schedule. Position will be primarily during nights and weekends.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide first rate customer service
  • Assist guests who are entering the venue through the Evolv system
  • Provide information regarding events taking place on campus
  • Efficiently and courteously answers questions concerning seating and events.
  • Coordinate ingress and egress of Symphony Hall, including scanning of tickets
  • Support Front of House Manager with event set up and break down
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Familiarity with ADA requirements and patron assistance

Education / Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1+ years of customer service / guest services experience preferred or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities
