Purpose

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving company bookings and market expansion in the Public Safety industry. With a focus on selling Alleriumโ€™s Agency Solutions including 9-1-1 Call Handling Equipment (CHE/CPE). Allerium offers traditional on-prem CHE, hosted 911aaS, and a browser-based cloud solution.

You will be responsible for prospecting, developing, and closing new business; while also managing and customer renewals occurring within your territory. Sales are conducted via direct selling as well as the use of 3rd party channel partners. This role requires strategic key account management, business development efforts, and cross functional team collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • This is a remote field-sales position with travel to customer sites required as needed and appropriate.
  • Professional presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Multi-year government contract creation and negotiation.
  • Youโ€™ll be responsible for creation and execution of key account strategies. Cultivating key accounts and shaping customer criteria long before purchasing time frames occur.
  • With support from the proposals team, you will lead the response to Requests for Proposal (RFPs), crafting strategic narratives that align with customer value propositions.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Drive sales pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and deal closure, ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability, implementing best practices and sales methodologies to drive performance excellence.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date CRM information.
  • Support finance with invoice and payment activities.
  • Adapt and customize current solutions to fit customer use cases and business cases.
  • Discover new potential sales opportunities by monitoring relevant standards organization activities and attending trade shows.

Requirements:

  • Telecommunications industry technical understanding.
  • Experience selling 9-1-1 call handling solutions with a thorough understanding of the 9-1-1 and public safety environment.
  • Experience selling computer-aided-dispatch, GIS, and cloud-based platforms or other related PSAP solutions.
  • Experience with MEDDICC / MEDDPICCR or similar sales methodology.
  • Must be located in one of the following states: KY, TN, MS, AL, GA, SC, FL
  • Minimum of 5 years selling to public safety agencies, or equivalent experience.

Education:

  • 4 - year degree or equivalent experience

The pay range reflects the expected base salary for this position. Final compensation will be based on role, level, skills, experience, and geographic location.
