We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Facility Security Officer (FSO) with demonstrated expertise in Personnel Security, DD254 management, ACCS, and COMSEC. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and written communication skills, exceptional analytical ability in interpreting and implementing policy and procedures, and impeccable attention to detail. In this role, you will support the Director of Security in overseeing all aspects of the site's industrial security program-including visitor control, selfinspections, and DCSA Security Reviews-to ensure full compliance with U.S. Government security requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Make recommendations to ensure the organization follows its security program and meets all contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct biannual security program selfinspections and prepare associated documentation.
  • Serve as the primary Security Point of Contact (POC) for assigned contracts.
  • Maintain and administer DISS, NBIS, SWFT, and NISS accounts.
  • Manage and update security records for employees and consultants.
  • Conduct the security portion of New Hire Orientation and ensure new personnel meet required onboarding security standards.
  • Maintain classified material accountability records, including inventories, receipts, transmittals, and disposition records.
  • Execute COMSEC responsibilities, including inventory management, distribution, and destruction of controlled items.
  • Develop and sustain key external industry partnerships and build strong internal stakeholder relationships to share best practices and stay ahead of emerging policy.
  • Coordinate initial access eligibility determinations and prepare SCI nomination packages.
  • Prepare, review, and update DD254s, including those in ACCS for SCI and SAP contracts.

Required

  • BS or BA degree
  • 5 years Industrial Security experience
  • Ability to work with a diverse team and key leaders to ensure compliance with security directives.
  • Working knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM
  • Completion of FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities Course
  • Must have a DoW Top Secret security clearance
