Job Title:Associate Data Analyst

Location:Reston, VA or Remote East Coast (USA)

About This Role:

This role will be responsible for working directly with clients to onboard their digital data into Comscore platforms and production processes, through either standardized Comscore-managed measurement solutions or direct partnerships with clients. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, optimize performance, and deliver actionable insights. A strong technical background is required, along with a keen eye for detail and a passion for solving complex problems.
What You'll Do:

  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business decisions.
  • Read, understand, and analyze code written in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, Objective-C/Swift.
  • Write, optimize, and manage complex SQL queries to interact with relational databases (RDBMS). Ensure data integrity and performance optimization.
  • Utilize network sniffing tools like Charles Network Proxy, Wireshark, etc., to monitor and analyze network traffic.
  • Create data visualizations, charts, and graphs to present insights clearly to stakeholders.
  • Understand and utilize the existing automation tools to streamline and automate repetitive tasks.
  • Understand client queries, diagnose issues, and provide appropriate solutions with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Work effectively in a team environment, sharing knowledge and learning from peers.
  • Be adaptable to new technologies and changes in the work environment, including working independently.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or analytically oriented field.
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, or similar programming languages.
  • Strong SQL skills with a solid understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS).
  • Experience with network sniffing tools like Charles Network Proxy, Wireshark, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills with a knack for solving complex problems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new tools, technologies, and changing business requirements.
