Onsite AV Support Technician - Contract to Hire: Dallas, TX

We are seeking two dynamic and energetic Onsite AV Support Technician to deliver exceptional audio-visual (AV) support at our client's facilities. In this role, you will be the go-to expert for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting a wide range of conference room and AV equipment to ensure seamless communication and presentation experiences. Your mechanical aptitude, VTC knowledge, white glove meeting support and field service expertise will drive the success of live events, meetings, and conference setups. This is a three-month contract to begin in May, 40 hours per week Monday - Friday with a potential for full time hire!

Duties include:

In this position, you will act as technology support for the end user client and will be responsible for managing and troubleshooting technology infrastructure (Crestron, Prysm, Pixera, IglooVision), exponential technologies (Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Mixed Reality), and various software applications. A proactive and hard-working attitude will ensure your success. In this role, you will:

  • Support client engagements by ensuring technology needs are planned for, setup, tested, and supported throughout greenhouse experiences
  • Be responsible for all aspects of systems availability and oversee all technology configurations
  • Maintain technology assets to ensure top performance and client readiness
  • Provide white glove support and real-time troubleshooting for greenhouse applications and systems
  • Maintain an emphasis on operational excellence and continuous improvement of all technology processes and procedures
  • Assist with creating documentation for technology assets and client demos
  • Manage infrastructure (software and hardware) for demos and showcases
  • Advise delivery teams on design elements associated with various technologies

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Experience: 5+ years (or 3 years with an advanced degree) in technology customer support, emphasizing technical infrastructure and exponential technologies.
  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on expertise in troubleshooting AV integrated technologies and repairing computer systems.
  • Technology Skills: Direct experience with diverse technologies, such as networking, Windows, Apple iOS, Crestron systems, collaboration tools, AR/VR systems, and other in-room technologies.
  • Proven field service experience supporting AV or telecommunication systems in various environments.
  • Proficiency with computer hardware components and troubleshooting software issues related to AV equipment.
  • Ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and wiring diagrams accurately.
  • Knowledge of telecommunication systems including network connectivity for AV solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills combined with clear communication abilities to assist clients effectively.
