Job Summary:
Procom is a leading provider of professional IT services and staffing to businesses and governments in Canada. They are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join the Enterprise Service Management team, responsible for consulting, design, and administration of Service Management applications, as well as troubleshooting and resolving issues.
Responsibilities:
• providing consulting, design, deployment and administration of Service Management application like HPE BSM, HPE uCMDB, ServiceNow, NewRelic
• partnering with key stakeholders to understand, troubleshoot, and resolve issues for the ESM team
• interface with user base and internal IT staff
• issue tracking through the logging of support tickets
• providing feedback to stakeholders on issue status
• issue resolution/closure
• debug interface issues
• requirement analysis
• documentation and collaboration site maintenance
Qualifications:
Required:
• Minimum of a BA/BS (or equivalent with 3-5 years of experience supporting enterprise systems)
• Strong analytical skills with prior experience in enterprise systems, database, and integration support.
• Must have advanced scripting development experience using Perl, Groovy, Jython/Python or advanced level Client Code development using Java / REST API
• Candidate must be action oriented, proactive, able to multi-task, and set a demanding pace of execution.
• Strong customer service, business partnership, and interpersonal skills will be essential.
Preferred:
• Preference for Computer Science, Information Systems.
• Familiarity with, and an aptitude for, service management applications will be beneficial.
• Knowledge of service management business processes and the HPE Service management tool will be preferred but is not essential.
• Prior experience in requirements development/documentation, testing, scripting, share point maintenance or other querying Language is recommended.
