Job description

Services and deliverables shall include the following: Installation, Troubleshooting, configuration, and patching of Non-Classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPR) Infrastructure and associated devices to include Department of Defense (DoD) approved peripheral devices. Administration of SharePoint, Air Force Teams, and other DoD approved collaborative environments. Initial user training on DoD approved systems and peripheral devices. Client support for personnel assigned to AFSFC Detachment 3.

Services provided by the contractor can be broken into two segments, directed network support and customer service.

As Defense Information System Agency (DISA) identifies issues relating to software programs such as security patches and hardware changes or upgrades, the agency will receive implementation guidance.

This position must keep up-to-date with emerging standards and technologies that impact United States Army and Air Force systems and infrastructure to include but not limited to:

· Current Operating Systems, such as Windows 10

· Internet Protocol Version 6.0 (IPv6)

· Global Information Grid (GIG)

· The two most recent Air Force-approved Standard Desktop Configuration (SDC)

· Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)

· IAO Express

· AFNET Client Service Technician
