Job Summary
Responsible for developing analytical solutions that transform raw data into actionable insights to support operational decision-making. Designs dashboards, builds reports, and executes data queries using standardized BI tools and methods. Supports data validation, quality assurance, and user education for business users. Collaborates with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver timely data products. Maintains service focus by ensuring data availability and issue resolution.
Essential Functions
• Designs and develops dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Crystal Reports.
• Builds and optimizes SQL queries, views, and stored procedures to support data analysis and reporting.
• Develops and maintains ETL workflows for collecting and transforming data from multiple sources.
• Responds to user requests for ad-hoc reports, slicer/dicer analysis, and metric definitions.
• Ensures data accuracy, completeness, and consistency in BI products and data models.
• Assists with monitoring performance and daily operations of BI systems and reporting environments.
• Documents BI solutions, query logic, and data source mappings for transparency and reuse.
• Collaborates with analysts and IT teams to resolve technical issues and improve data usability.
• Participates in user training and support to promote self-service analytics adoption.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, data science, or a related field.
Experience Requirement: 2+ years of experience in computer science, information systems, data science, or a relevant area
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
