Job description
Duties will include teaching a broad range of undergraduate courses (but not First Year Engineering courses), holding office hours, grading, supervision of teaching assistants and development of course materials. Multiple sections of lecture and laboratory courses will be offered each semester.
Lecturer applicants should hold a Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. PhD preferred. Applicants with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and strong industry experience will also be considered. Successful candidates will be expected to have prior relevant teaching and/or industry experience.
Applications are now being accepted. Review of credentials will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
Applications must include the following: a letter of application (upload under cover letter), a curriculum vitae or resume, and a statement of teaching philosophy (upload under Specific Request 1); as well as the names and contact information for at least three references when prompted in the application. This information may be utilized to solicit recommendation letters from your references within the employment system in advanced rounds of the interview process.
