AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $31.89 ou/or $50.25 (2024-2025)

The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Requirements and Nature of Work:

  • Enrolled in a graduate program in Systems Science, Digital Transformation and Innovation, Engineering Management, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of security policies and mechanisms, user authentication protocols, firewalls (internal and external), Intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and security of operating systems, databases, and applications
  • Experience with network security tool or virtual lab environment
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to students with varying levels of experience

Preference will be given to students with

  • Previous experience as a TA in a related subject
  • Research experience in related fields
  • Familiarity with real-world applications of Cybersecurity
