AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $31.89 ou/or $50.25 (2024-2025)

The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

HSS 6104 - A00 Quantitative Research Methods and Analysis in Health Sciences (1.5 units)

Help with marking of assignments and exams, proctoring of exams, etc.
Teaching assistant may be required to hold office hours to assist professor with addressing student inquiries and concerns outside of class times.

Schedule (hybrid)

Tuesday 11:30 - 14:20

Lectures are from October 21 to December 8th, 2026.

Minimum requirement

  • MSc or PhD in Health Sciences or equivalent with very good English writing skills to accurately mark essays and long answers on assessments.
  • Experience with online learning programs and software (as a teaching assistant)
  • Experience with web software (uploading content, programming content)
  • Experience conducting quantitative research
  • Experience with quantitative data analysis and associated management software

    Working conditions: Please note the course is offered in hybrid format and you will be required to have access to a computer, Internet, microphone and webcam. You will also need to come to campus occasionally.

    Please note that this contract includes the hours of supervision and marking of the final exam.
