Responsibilities

Coordinates Schedulers and/or Secretarial staff, education instructors in the scheduling of anesthesia services.  Acts as a liaison between Staff,  Physicians and other hospital personnel, as well as physician offices.  Provides service to neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and to adult NSH employees as it relates to Anesthesia scheduling and coordination needs.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

 

  • Two (4) years' experience as a Scheduler or other related experience.
  • One (2) year of supervisory experience in healthcare or related environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Medical Terminology.
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of a computerized scheduling system and related trouble-shooting, maintenance, and repair activities.
  • Skilled in word processing, spreadsheets, and organizing material for presentations.
  • PREFERRED

     

  • Prvious experience in provider scheduling 
  • Two (2) years computer-related college coursework.
  • Two (2) years of business administration/secretarial science
  • BA/BS in business or related field
