To thrive as a Computer Science Entry Level New Grad, you need a foundational understanding of programming languages (such as Python, Java, or C++), data structures, algorithms, and a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. Familiarity with version control systems like Git, basic database technologies, and relevant certifications (such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner) can be advantageous. Entry-level computer science new grads are often assigned to work on well-defined tasks such as fixing bugs, writing unit tests, or developing small features under the guidance of more experienced engineers.
