Job description



Position Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Salesforce Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable and high-performing solutions on the Salesforce platform. You will be the technical authority for all things Salesforce, translating business requirements into well-architected solutions that align with our strategic goals. You will provide technical leadership to a team of developers and administrators, ensuring that our Salesforce ecosystem is secure, robust, and optimized for growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Solution Design & Architecture: Lead the design of end-to-end Salesforce solutions, including data modeling, security, integration, and user interface design. Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including solution design documents and architecture diagrams.
  • Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Serve as the subject matter expert for the Salesforce platform (including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud). Guide and mentor a team of Salesforce developers and administrators, establishing best practices for coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and executive stakeholders to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and architectural designs.
  • Integration & Data Management: Design and oversee the implementation of complex integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, marketing automation) using APIs (REST/SOAP) and middleware platforms. Define data migration strategies and ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Governance & Best Practices: Establish and enforce Salesforce development standards, governance frameworks, and best practices to ensure the long-term health and scalability of the platform. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to the development team.
  • Innovation & Roadmapping: Stay current with the latest Salesforce features, platform updates, and industry trends. Contribute to the long-term Salesforce roadmap, identifying opportunities for innovation and process improvement.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 6+ years of experience in Salesforce platform development, with at least 4+ years in a technical architect or lead developer role.
  • Certifications:
    • Required: Salesforce Certified Application Architect or Salesforce Certified System Architect.
    • Strongly Preferred: Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA).
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Deep understanding of the Salesforce platform's architecture, limitations, and capabilities.
    • Expert proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL.
    • Proven experience designing and implementing solutions across multiple Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Community/Experience Cloud).
    • Strong experience with integration patterns, APIs (REST/SOAP), and middleware tools.
    • Expertise in data modeling, data migration, and implementing robust security models (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules).
  • Leadership & Communication:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and projects.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Legal Status: Must be authorized to work in the USA.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Field Service Lightning, or Marketing Cloud.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Salesforce DevOps Center, Copado, Gearset) and version control systems like Git.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
  • Experience in the [e.g., Financial Services, Healthcare, Retail] industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
