RESPONSIBILITIES OF SALES MANAGERS:
  • Actively manage a team of sales associates and create strategies that will enhance the overall consumer experience
  • Ensure inventory orders are up to date and correct throughout the lot.
  • Maintain a positive atmosphere in your showrooms while managing the tasks and process` of your sales teams.
  • Have scheduled training meeting with sales staff at least 3 days a week to make sure they are ready to handle objections.
  • You are expected to run the dealership with integrity and honesty
  • You are expected to protect the dealership. Always being alert to fraudulent situations.
  • Have morning meetings daily at 9am to discuss yesterday's activities and today's action plan.
  • Assist sales associates with customers as needed. Always be available
  • Monitor and assist with funding on every deal
  • Maintain and note details in our CRM, Trends and other systems put in place to help you keep track of necessary information
  • Always inspect what you expect. Accountability will help grow individuals and build a stronger team

QUALIFICATIONS OF SALES MANAGERS:

  • Enhanced time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively manage and motivate employees each day
  • Auto sales experience preferred
  • Experience in desking deals effectively
  • Outgoing and friendly personality, especially while handling objections
  • Persistent, competitive and possesses a strong work ethic
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills in person and over the phone

SALES MANAGER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous dealership and management experience a huge plus

  • Leadership skills with a passion for training fellow employees

  • Enthusiasm with high energy throughout the sales workday

  • Goal-oriented, friendly personality, especially when negotiating pricing

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities

  • Quality customer service, communication, computer and basic math skills

  • Clean driving record & valid driver’s license
