Job Summary:

Our HR Recruiter Intern will assist in the coordination of staffing and recruiting processes. The ideal candidate should be passionate about healthcare and technology, comfortable speaking to candidates, multitask efficiently, be organized, flexible, and driven. A flexible schedule is allowed, but availability of 5 days per week is preferred.

Duties amp; Responsibilities:

  • Effectively implement overall staffing coordination recruiting strategy.
  • Utilize various web-based recruitment methods, such as online job fairs, social media sourcing, etc.
  • Source passive candidates by using existing Applicant Tracking Systems, and other assigned sourcing tools.
  • Conduct all initial interviews and assist in the completion of New Hire paperwork for Healthcare Support Staffing.
  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications.
  • Provide recruiting task analysis to document requirements for open positions.
  • Screen candidates, resumes, and job applications.
  • Implement HR recruiting best practices throughout the pre-hiring and post-hiring process.
  • Approve Paid Time Off and track staff absenteeism.
  • Monitor and maintain the current employee status of all staff.
  • Meet weekly with the Case Management Supervisor to collaborate on staffing needs.
  • Identify company employee requirements and create a staffing strategy.
  • Assist the HR department with hiring, training, and onboarding new employees.
  • Prepare work schedules and enforce compliance with company and industry labor requirements.
  • Confirm staff details and working hours to ensure accurate employee compensation.

  • Assist with Organizational Public Relations, to establish and maintain core strategic relationships with potential new hires and existing staff.

  • Bilingual in Spanish, Portuguese, or Creole preferred.

  • Comfortable with public speaking and the use of interactive media and other digital devices to facilitate employee training.
  • Experience writing persuasive job listings, posting job ads on recruitment sites, and reviewing candidates’ qualifications.

Requirements amp; Qualifications:.

  • At least a year of HR Recruiting or Staffing Coordination experience.
  • Current college student, or recent graduate.
  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience in Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience in HRIS Software.
  • Must consent to and pass a formal background check including fingerprinting.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship. We are unable to sponsor H-1B or other employment visas at this time.

Schedule:

  • We are offering flexible hours. Ideally, we are looking for someone who can commit to the office five days a week, for at least 3 to 4 hours.

Our Corporate and Administrative Internship positions at Neuropath are designed as structured learning and development experiences, with a minimum commitment of six (6) months. Completion of our internship program — whether as an undergraduate or as a graduate with a bachelor’s degree — does not guarantee employment. While participation in the internship may lead to consideration for a paid role, transition to employment is not automatic or guaranteed. Hiring decisions are determined by organizational needs, position availability, and the individual’s demonstrated readiness for the role.
Interns seeking to transition into a paid position must meet the following criteria:
  • Successful completion of the full 6-month internship term.
  • Completion of all required training and workflow processes.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in all core responsibilities, with the ability to perform assigned tasks independently and comprehensively without direct supervision.
  • Successful performance reviews at both the 90-day and 180-day milestones.
  • Ability to commute to our office in Union, NJ.
Current students who have not yet graduated are not eligible for paid employment in administrative positions but may continue as interns. Candidates without a degree will be considered for entry-level roles (e.g., Client Services) on a case-by-case basis.
All interns — regardless of educational background — must exhibit the level of competency required to meet the demands of the position, including adaptability, technical proficiency, communication skills, and a thorough understanding of our operational standards. This applies equally to entry-level roles such as Client Service Administrators (CSA). We do not hire interns into trainee positions; all hires must be prepared to assume full responsibilities from day one.
