Robotics Engineering Co-op

Humanoid

Boston, MA • On-site

Full-time

Posted 7 days ago

Job description

Here at Humanoid, we believe in a future where robots amplify human potential. That's why we've set out on a mission to build the world's most capable, commercially-scalable, and safe humanoid robots. We're bringing that mission to life with HMND‑01 Alpha - our rapidly developed humanoid platform now running in real industrial pilots - and we're growing the team to take it even further.
About the Role
We're looking for a motivated Robotics Engineering Co-op to join our Boston-based team. This is a hands-on role working alongside engineers on real hardware development - from early-stage prototyping to integration and testing. The position is available to start immediately and can run through the fall, which is ideal for students on a co-op cycle
What You'll Do
Day-to-day responsibilities will vary based on current project needs, but you can expect to be involved in hardware design, circuit debugging, PCB review, component selection, lab testing, and supporting the broader engineering team on robotics development initiatives.
What We're Looking For
  • Currently pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or a related field such as Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Robotics
  • Comfortable working in a lab environment with hands-on hardware
  • Familiarity with common EE tools and concepts (multimeters, oscilloscopes, schematics, etc.)
  • A portfolio alongside your application. This can include class projects, personal builds, GitHub repositories, design files, or anything else that demonstrates hands-on experience with hardware or engineering work.
