The Opportunity:
CACI is currently seeking a Computer Network Architect to design and implement computer and information networks, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks. Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning, including analysis of capacity needs for network infrastructures. May also design network and computer security measures. May research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software.
Responsibilities:
Network Design and Architecture:
  • Design and implement network architectures that meet the organization's needs.
  • Create detailed network diagrams and documentation.

Requirement Analysis:
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for network infrastructure.
  • Conduct network assessments to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

Technology Selection and Implementation:
  • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, protocols, and standards.
  • Implement and configure network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.

Network Security:
  • Design and implement network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
  • Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents using security solutions.

Performance Optimization:
  • Monitor network performance and identify bottlenecks or issues.

Required:
  • Associate of Arts (AA) degree or 2 year technical school.
  • 10 Years of relevant experience.
  • 15 years of relevant experience may be substituted for education
