Overview
MG2, an affiliate of Colliers Engineering & Design, is currently looking for a CAD Specialist to join our Client Programs Market team in Seattle, WA! You will be working in our Client Programs (CP) Market, where you will have the unique opportunity to work on global and national building programs with a focus on project and client leadership through all phases of design and delivery.
Our CAD Specialist is a collaborative member of the project team responsible for delivering high quality architectural drawings and documentation with coordination between consultants and team members. You will play a crucial role in translating conceptual ideas into detailed and accurate technical drawings using CAD software. Your primary responsibilities will include collaborating with architects, engineers, and designers to develop precise 2D and 3D models, ensuring that designs meet industry standards and project specifications.
Responsibilities
  • Supports team in document production needs.
  • Upholds graphic and CAD standards in documentation.
  • Produces timely and accurate project documentation with guidance of studio architects.
  • Assists with project coordination through document overlays.
  • Develops new Revit families as needed.
  • Supports and trains others in software platforms and standards as needed.
  • Engages in professional development related to project documentation.
  • Actively engages in learning new design technology platforms used at MG2.
  • Actively engages in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Communicates own workload and manages tasks to deadlines.
  • Manages work within assigned scope and time budget.

Qualifications
  • Associate's or technical degree in related field, preferred.
  • Proven experience as a CAD Specialist, or similar role.
  • Proficiency using AutoCAD or Revit.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, construction methods and industry standards.
  • Working knowledge of document production, architectural process and ideally, permit processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision in creating technical drawings.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with industry trends and technologies.
  • Excellent time management skills.

Compensation: $58,000 to $70,000 per year (depending on qualifications)
