Job description

Overview

CTG is seeking an experienced SAP SCM Technical Program Manager to lead enterprise Supply Chain technology initiatives for our client. This role is ideal for a seasoned Program Manager with expertise delivering SAP Supply Chain projects across Procurement, Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Inventory Management, Warehousing, Transportation, and Order Management.

You'll partner with business and technical teams to drive successful SAP implementations, enhancements, integrations, and operational improvements while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

Location: Sacramento, CA
Duration: 6 months

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of SAP SCM technology programs and projects.
  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
  • Partner with business leaders to define requirements, prioritize initiatives, and align technology solutions with operational goals.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including SAP functional consultants, developers, architects, QA, infrastructure, and business users.
  • Support SAP implementations, upgrades, enhancements, integrations, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Drive project governance, executive reporting, and steering committee updates.
  • Oversee testing, user acceptance, deployment, production readiness, and post-go-live support.
  • Manage operational transition from project implementation to application support.
  • Support security, DevOps, middleware, monitoring, incident, problem, change, and release management initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve automation, operational efficiency, and technology adoption.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of Program or Project Management experience.
  • Proven experience leading SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) projects.
  • Strong understanding of Supply Chain business processes, including Procurement, Planning, Inventory Management, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Logistics, Transportation, and Order Management.
  • Experience with SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, EWM, TM, or related Supply Chain applications.
  • Strong project governance, stakeholder management, risk management, and communication skills.
  • Experience leading global, cross-functional teams and managing multiple concurrent projects.
  • Experience supporting application operations, production support, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience implementing security frameworks, DevOps platforms, middleware technologies, and enterprise monitoring solutions.
  • Knowledge of SAP application lifecycle management and operational support processes.
  • PMP, Scrum Master, or similar project management certification.
  • Experience driving automation and productivity improvements within enterprise SAP environments.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $55.00 to $60.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
