Key Responsibilities:

CAD Drafting & Documentation

  • Create and revise 2D and 3D CAD drawings for smoker assemblies, parts, and accessories
  • Develop detailed manufacturing drawings, including dimensions, tolerances, and notes
  • Maintain bills of materials (BOMs) and drawing revision history

Engineering & Manufacturing Support

  • Work closely with design engineers to translate concepts into production-ready drawings
  • Support manufacturing by providing accurate prints, cut lists, and assembly documentation
  • Assist with tooling, fixture, and assembly layout drawings

Change Management

  • Implement engineering change orders (ECOs) by updating drawings and related documentation
  • Ensure proper revision control and document release processes are followed
  • Archive obsolete drawings per company procedures

Quality & Compliance

  • Support quality investigations by updating or verifying drawing requirements
  • Ensure drawings align with company standards and applicable safety requirements
  • Assist with standardization of drawing templates and CAD practices

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with manufacturing, sourcing, and quality teams to clarify drawing requirements
  • Communicate drawing changes and updates clearly to stakeholders

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

  • Associate degree or technical certification in CAD drafting, engineering technology, or a related field

  • Experience with sheet metal, weldments, and assemblies preferred

Technical Skills
