The Machine OperatorCproduces quality productsaccording to provided specifications and equipment.

This job description lists major areas ofresponsibilityandadditionaljob activities may be added at any time.

Shift:

3rd Shift Sunday-Thursday 11:00pm-7:00am

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ability tooperatenumeroustypes of equipment with high productivity and quality levels
  • Abide by all safety policiesand procedures to create a safe working environment for all employees
  • Safelyoperatestamping presses,assemblyand machining equipment
  • Proficient in using PLC (programable logic controller),loadingand unloading machines, detailed inspections, ability to use measuring devices and gauges to check tolerances within several thousandths, and final assembly and packaging (box construction, labelplacementand taping) of products
  • Ability to work on a raised platform safely
  • Ability tooperatea computer
  • Perform repetitive operations, according toprovided work instructions
  • Use fixtures,jigs, hand toolsas necessary, to ensure proper position and/or movement of components and parts
  • Bealertto detect obvious defects andtake necessary measuresto correct
