GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
This is a technical support position requiring computer workstation and network maintenance, troubleshooting, software installation, and software support. Installs, maintains, and services audio-visual equipment, Epson short-throw interactive projectors, phones, and other miscellaneous technology equipment. Processes warranty claims for equipment and/or parts replacements. Performs preventative maintenance and routine cleaning of equipment. Maintains records and inventory. Responds promptly to end-user requests for assistance.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Has attained a high school diploma or GED
2. Possess foundational experience in the following technical areas:
A. Familiarity with Windows 10, Apple OS, Office 365
B. Strong technical skills in troubleshooting and repair verified by training/work experience
C. Workstation hardware and peripheral installation
D. Workstation software installation, Windows system imaging, and inventory management
E. Experience with LAN connectivity (wired and Wi-Fi) and troubleshooting
F. CompTIA A+ Certification preferred
3. Has the ability to perform manual tasks requiring the capacity to lift a minimum of 30 lbs
4. Strong work ethic
5. Demonstrated reliability and excellent attendance
6. Eagerness to learn new technological skills
7. Capable of working independently
HOURLY RATE & HOURS:
$25.74 up to $33.16 depending on education and experience. Eight hours per shift, (7:30 am - 3:30 pm), Monday-Friday, forty hours per week, 260 days per year.
