Wellspring USA LLC

Orlando, FL • On-site

$22 - $25/hr

Full-time, Part-time

Job description

Description:

Field-Based | Independent Role | Travel Required

Pay Range: $22–$25/hour

Part-time to Full-time

Not your typical phlebotomy role:

If you’re someone who:

  • Likes being on the move instead of stuck in one clinic
  • Takes pride in patient care... especially with elderly populations
  • Can manage your own day without someone looking over your shoulder
  • Wants a role that actually matters

What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll be the face of Genesis in the field—traveling between long-term care communities, collecting blood and urine specimens, and making sure everything gets back to the lab safely and on time.

This role is equal parts phlebotomist + problem-solver + relationship builder.

  • Travel between LTC communities daily (your route = your responsibility)
  • Perform blood draws + urine collections with confidence and care
  • Work closely with elderly patients—patience and compassion matter here
  • Handle specimen labeling, documentation, and chain of custody like a pro
  • Use our LIS system (Genuin) for orders and tracking
  • Transport all specimens back to the lab for processing
  • Build strong relationships with staff at each facility

What Your Day Feels Like:

No two days are exactly the same—but you’ll always have structure.

  • Start your day with a plan
  • Hit your route across multiple LTC sites
  • Knock out collections efficiently (without rushing patient care)
  • Stay organized, communicate clearly, and keep things moving
  • Wrap your day by ensuring all specimens are delivered to the lab

You’ll Thrive Here If You:

  • Are confident in your phlebotomy skills
  • Can work independently and own your schedule
  • Stay calm, professional, and kind with patients
  • Take accountability seriously
  • Like being busy and productive

Let’s Be Honest—This Role Isn’t for Everyone:

This won’t be a fit if you:

  • Need constant supervision
  • Struggle with time management or organization
  • Don’t enjoy working with elderly patients
  • Prefer staying in one place all day

Why Genesis?

We’re not a stagnant lab.. we’re growing fast.

  • More opportunities as we expand
  • A team that actually cares about doing things right
  • Work that directly impacts patient care every single day

Bottom Line:

You’re not just collecting samples… you’re keeping care moving for patients who rely on consistency and trust.

If that sounds like you, apply!

Requirements:
  • 1+ year of phlebotomy experience
  • Experience with elderly/LTC patients preferred
  • Reliable transportation (non-negotiable)
  • Comfortable working independently in a mobile role
  • Strong attention to detail + organization
  • Basic computer skills

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Phlebotomy certification, CNA, or MA
  • Lab or specimen processing experience
  • Mobile healthcare or field-based experience
