We are hiring a Quality Control Lab Assistant. The Quality Control Lab Assistant will support the QC Department under the direction of a QC Lead Microbiologist or above by providing general support required for the testing and release of FUJIFILM Biosciences products.
1st shift- 5am-1:30pm

Job Description
Responsibilities:
  • Provide documentation support of testing and monitoring activities in the QC
  • General housekeeping of QC lab including cleaning and maintaining test equipment
  • Receiving and logging testing sample into data base/test tracking systems
  • Arrange testing sample to contract lab, and tracking sample and liaising with contract labs to ensure timely reporting of
  • Record keeping of quality report, statistical reviews and relevant document
  • Perform data entry for analysis
  • Other relevant duties as assigned

Required Skills/Education:
  • Minimum 1 year college biology/chemistry. Current work towards B.S. in biology, chemistry, biochemistry or related scientific discipline preferred.
  • 0-2 years of relevant
  • General lab safety and adherence to Good Laboratory
  • General knowledge of Manufacturing Processes, Water Systems, Cell Culture, Chemistry, and Microbiology.
  • General knowledge of basic laboratory equipment (scales, pH meters, etc).
  • Good general knowledge of computer systems and productivity
  • Ability to speak, write and read English.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.

Salary and Benefits:
  • For California, the base salary range for this position is $20.84 - $27.19 per hour. Compensation for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience, location, etc.).
