Description:

The Lab Assistant provides part-time support to the Production Manager and production team with general administrative, organizational, and lab support activities. This is an entry-level position designed to assist with day-to-day tasks that help keep the production area organized and operating efficiently.

Requirements:Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist the Production Manager with general day-to-day production and administrative tasks.
  • Scan, organize, and maintain production documents and records.
  • Assist with order entry and other basic data entry activities.
  • Perform routine and remedial tasks as assigned.
  • Help maintain organization of production materials, supplies, documents, and work areas.
  • Assist with general cleaning and upkeep of lab and production areas.
  • File, sort, label, and organize documents and materials.
  • Assist with basic inventory or supply organization as needed.
  • Support other production-related projects and tasks as assigned by the Production Manager.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous work experience is not required.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn order entry and other company systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks accurately.
  • Dependable and able to work independently with appropriate direction.
  • Willingness to assist with a variety of administrative and hands-on tasks.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for periods throughout the workday.
  • Ability to bend, reach, and perform routine cleaning and organizational tasks.
  • Ability to lift and carry light materials and supplies as needed.
Work Schedule

This is a part-time position scheduled for approximately 4.5 hours per day. Specific workdays and hours will be established based on production needs.
