Job Description: Lab Analyst โ€“ Protective Barriers Department
Salt Lake City, UT | $21/hr | Schedule - Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm

Kelly Services is hiring on behalf of our client, a leading global provider of laboratory testing and expert advisory services for MedTech and pharmaceutical companies. Join their state-of-the-art Salt Lake City facility as a Lab Analyst in the Protective Barriers Department!


About the Role

Please note: You will be required to wear PPE (safety glasses, lab coats, gloves, etc.) throughout your workday.
Pay: $21/hr
Job Type: Possible Temp to Hire 
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm


Key Responsibilities
  • Order supplies and media as needed for laboratory testing
  • Ensure all tests are conducted according to approved procedures (SOP, CSS, STP, etc.)
  • Participate in the resolution of quality events (e.g., unexpected results, deviations)
  • Assist with and review controlled documents
  • Collaborate with the Study Director and quality teams
  • Develop professional skills and complete required training prior to performing procedures
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit ~15% of the day; stand and walk/traverse 75% of the day; use a computer ~10%
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb as needed
  • Full body mobility required
  • Occasional push and pull tasks with one or both hands
  • Must be able to safely and effectively wear PPE such as safety glasses, goggles, face shields, gloves, lab coats, and other specific protective gear
