American Leadership Academy - Spanish Fork is now accepting applications for a part-time Music Teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year for our campus located in Spanish Fork, UT. Candidates must be willing to undergo a background check.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop and deliver age-appropriate general music lessons for students in grades K–6, aligned with school-wide curriculum goals and Core Knowledge sequence.
• Introduce students to rhythm, melody, harmony, instrument families, vocal technique, and movement
• Integrate diverse musical traditions and culturally responsive content
• Prepare students for informal performances, assemblies, and school-wide events as applicable
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and staff to support interdisciplinary learning
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
• Communicate student progress and needs to families and school staff
• Contribute to school culture and community through participation in faculty meetings and trainings
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Utah Teaching Certificate
• Pass applicable background check

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Music Performance, or related field
• Ability to play guitar and/or piano
• Experience teaching elementary music
