Job Description

Addison Group is partnering with our client to hire an HRIS Analyst. This position is responsible for supporting and enhancing Workday's Benefits and Leave of Absence (LOA) functionality. The ideal candidate will have strong Workday configuration experience and enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve HR systems, support benefits administration, and ensure accurate system performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, maintain, and optimize Workday Benefits and Leave of Absence functionality, including eligibility criteria, benefit plans, leave programs, and accrual rules.
  • Support benefits administration processes, including annual Open Enrollment and ongoing leave management activities.
  • Build and maintain Workday business processes, approval workflows, notifications, and system rules.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support benefits and leave-related system integrations.
  • Create and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and calculated fields to support business needs.
  • Participate in system testing, enhancements, releases, and production support efforts.
  • Investigate and resolve configuration, data, and system issues while identifying opportunities to improve processes and system efficiency.
  • Help maintain compliance with applicable benefits and leave regulations through accurate system configuration and ongoing support.

Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of Workday configuration experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years configuring and supporting Workday Benefits and Leave of Absence modules.
  • Strong understanding of Workday business processes, security, and reporting functionality.
  • Experience supporting Open Enrollment, leave administration, and benefits-related integrations.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues, troubleshoot effectively, and communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience with calculated fields, EIBs, integrations, and tenant management is a plus.
  • Workday Pro certification in Benefits and/or Absence Management is preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience supporting third-party benefits or leave vendors is a plus.
