Job description


Engagement Type: Contract; initial 6-month assignment with potential for extension based on business need and performance.
Hours: Approximately 30-40 hours per week
Reports To: Sr. HRIS Analyst and VP Human Resources
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HRIS Analyst (Contractor Role) to provide hands-on support for HR systems operations, configuration, reporting, troubleshooting, release readiness, documentation, and process improvement. This role is intended to help address current workload spikes and support ongoing HRIS projects in a lean HR technology environment.
The contractor will work through a structured intake and prioritization process. Internal team members will retain system ownership, final prioritization, and decision-making authority. The ideal candidate is execution-focused, comfortable working independently, and able to ramp quickly with limited oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support optimization, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Oracle HCM Cloud.
  • Leverage AI tools, including AI Agent Studio or related automation platforms, to improve HR processes and efficiency.
  • Support ADP Vantage and/or ADP Workforce Manager activities as needed, including issue resolution, data review, and process support.
  • Assist with Oracle HCM quarterly release readiness, testing, validation, and issue tracking.
  • Perform configuration updates, data corrections, workflow updates, and troubleshooting within approved governance and change-control processes.
  • Develop, update, and maintain step-by-step user guides, process documentation, and internal knowledge resources.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, and other stakeholders to support process improvements, automation opportunities, and system enhancements.
  • Work within a structured intake, ticketing, and prioritization process managed by the internal HRIS team.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of HRIS experience in a functional or techno-functional HR systems role.
  • Hands-on Oracle HCM Cloud experience, including configuration, troubleshooting, testing, or reporting.
  • Strong understanding of HR data, HR business processes, and system workflows.
  • Experience supporting system testing, issue resolution, documentation, and end-user support.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver work through a structured intake process.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and follow-through skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ADP Vantage, ADP Workforce Manager, or related payroll/timekeeping systems.
  • Experience supporting multi-country or global HR environments.
  • Experience with Oracle quarterly updates, regression testing, and release management.
  • Exposure to ERP integrations, payroll interfaces, or HR data integrations.
  • Experience in a compliance-sensitive environment, such as a public company or federal contractor.
