Computer Repair Technician 

Location: 421 New Sanford Rd, La Vergne, TN 37086

Employment Type: Full-time, Pay: Base Pay ranges from $19/hr-$19.50/hr with incentives totaling up to $240 a month

How You'll Make an Impact 

As part of team Alorica, you'll support our warehouse operations and will be trained on multiple parts of the warehouse floor, ranging from scanning in shipments, picking/packing, assessing returns/damaged products, and diagnostic checks.

What'll Set You Up for Success

Requirements:

  • A+ Certification or equivalent OR related degree
  • 6 months of experience repairing laptops or desktop computers
  • Able to pass basic terminology and troubleshooting/diagnostic computer repair activity
  • Able to diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues as well as identify potential quality related problems quickly
  • Able to replace and repair desktop and laptop parts
  • Able to recognize cosmetic defects or flaws and be able to tear down/replace cosmetic repairs.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Software
  • Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and achieve set production output goals
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Able to perform assigned duties with minimal supervision
  • Basic Math skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Independent worker with excellent organization skills
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Regular and on-time attendance is required

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to lift 30-50 pounds, without assistance repetitively
  • Ability to make repetitive movements including but not limited to bending or squatting
  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time unassisted

  • Must not be on any corrective action or performance plans
  • Must have held your current position for 6 + months
  • Must have relevant industry/program experience
