Job description

Job Duties:

  • Execute a procurement strategy that aligns with long-term growth objectives
  • Cultivate and manage high level partnerships with primary hardware manufacturers to ensure preferential allocation and competitive pricing
  • Negotiate service agreements to protect the company's margins and delivery timelines
  • Work with the Purchasing Manager and Inventory Manager to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize carrying costs
  • Coordinate the phase-out of legacy products and the introduction of next-generation hardware to prevent capital tie-up in obsolete inventory
  • Direct the demand forecasting process in collaboration with Operations and Marketing to align supply with market trends
  • Manage the product P&L, focusing on COGS reduction and margin expansion through strategic purchasing
  • Align with the purchasing team to execute on forecasts and maintain stock levels
  • Coordinate with the web team on new product launches and updates to ensure smooth product transitions
  • Perform additional related duties, as assigned

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 3 years of experience in hardware procurement, manufacturing, or consumer electronics operations
  • Extensive experience with enterprise-level ERP and MRP systems and advanced financial modeling, NetSuite preferred
  • Experience working on Shopify storefronts
  • Extensive knowledge of computer hardware, primarily gaming/enthusiast
