As a Graphic Designer at Fun Spot America Theme Parks, you will play a key role in developing branding and promotional marketing assets as well as maintaining the visual identity of our parks. You will serve on the creative team within the marketing department to create eye-catching graphics and design materials that enhance the overall guest experience and promote our brand.

Key Objectives

  • Conceptualize and design a wide-range of print and digital visual assets for the Fun Spot America Theme Parks brand including marketing and advertising collateral, billboards, in-park signage, promotional materials, merchandise, etc.
  • Create custom visual assets to support various internal departments such as social media, food and beverage, admissions, group sales, etc.
  • Manage multiple design projects, meeting deadlines, and delivering high-quality work
  • Assist with the design and production of in-park signage and wayfinding materials for both print and digital needs (A-frames, Digital menus, banners, ride signs, etc)
  • Maintain strong knowledge of print production process to set-up files properly for large-scale production needs
  • Ensure all design work adheres to the Fun Spot America brand guidelines and maintains a consistent visual identity through graphic design fundamentals such as typography, color theory, print and web design,
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to concept and execute creative campaigns to engage audiences, boost brand awareness, and drive customer acquisition.
Requirements:

Candidate Qualifications

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should have:

  • Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 2–4 years of professional graphic design experience preferred; however, early-career designers with strong portfolios, internships, freelance experience, or comparable hands-on experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency in design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative and versatile design skills.
  • Knowledge of design principles, typography, and color theory.
  • Experience with both traditional and digital media advertising creative.
  • Experience with creating content for websites and content management systems.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Compliance with Fun Spot America Theme Park’s drug-free workplace policy, including consent to pre-employment drug testing and adherence to federal, state, and local laws regarding drug and alcohol use.
  • Successfully undergo a comprehensive background check and motor vehicle check when applicable.


Ideal Candidates with the Preferred Qualifications are encouraged to apply:

  • 4+ years graphic design experience within an advertising agency and/or corporate marketing department.
  • Previous design experience in the theme park, attractions, entertainment, or hospitality industry.
