Description
We are seeking a highly driven Product Manager to own the Gaming Motherboard business in North America. This is a high-impact role with direct ownership of a key gaming category, where you will shape business performance across revenue, product strategy, and market execution.
You will have the opportunity to influence product direction with global HQ while working at the intersection of gaming, DIY PC building, and cutting-edge hardware innovation.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the DIY gaming PC ecosystem, is deeply customer-focused, and can translate market insights into actionable product and business strategies. This individual will work cross-functionally with HQ, Sales, Marketing, and key partners to drive growth in a highly competitive gaming hardware market.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Product Ownership & Strategy
  • Own the North America gaming motherboard portfolio, including roadmap input, assortment strategy, and lifecycle management
  • Define product positioning, segmentation, and value propositions tailored to gamers, enthusiasts, and system builders
  • Act as the voice of the NA market to HQ, influencing product design, features, and pricing

Go-to-Market & Business Execution
  • Lead new product introductions (NPI) and go-to-market (GTM) execution across key channels
  • Develop launch strategies, messaging, and sales enablement materials
  • Partner with Marketing to ensure strong product storytelling and campaign alignment

Revenue & Financial Management
  • Own weekly forecasting, demand planning, and order management
  • Drive revenue, margin, and inventory health across retail, e-tail, and distribution channels
  • Perform monthly business reviews, including revenue, margin, and SKU-level performance
  • Build and present business cases and P&L analysis to senior leadership

Market & Competitive Analysis
  • Analyze market trends, competitor products, and pricing strategies within the gaming motherboard space
  • Monitor CPU/chipset roadmaps (Intel/AMD) and industry shifts to inform product planning
  • Gather insights from customers, partners, and sales teams to refine strategy

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, FAE, Operations, and HQ teams to execute business plans
  • Provide product training, roadmap updates, and technical positioning to internal and external stakeholders
  • Work closely with channel partners to identify opportunities and resolve issues

Required Qualifications:
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in product management, category management, or business management in technology hardware (PC, components, or gaming preferred)
  • Proven experience managing revenue, forecasting, and product lifecycle

Domain Expertise
  • Strong knowledge of the DIY PC ecosystem, including motherboards, CPUs, GPUs, and gaming segments
  • Understanding of gaming customer personas, system builders, and channel dynamics (retail, e-tail, distribution)

Business & Analytical Skills
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in Excel-based modeling, forecasting, and reporting
  • Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable business strategies

Communication & Leadership
  • Fluent Mandarin and English communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
  • Self-starter with strong ownership and execution mindset

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in gaming hardware (motherboards, GPUs, or components)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, or similar CRM systems
  • Experience working with Asia-based HQ teams
  • Mandarin proficiency is a plus

Working Conditions:
  • Office: Typically works in an office environment.
  • Requires regular collaboration with Asia-based HQ teams, including participation in meetings 2-3 times per week outside standard business hours.
  • Requires sitting, operating a computer keyboard, telephone and other office equipment for extended periods of time
  • Travel: Up to 30% Domestic travel

$75,000 - $110,000 annually is the estimated pay range for this role working in Fremont or City of Industry, California offices. It does not include bonuses, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D insurance, Paid Time Off, EAP, & 401(k). The final amount will be determined based on the qualifications & experience of the candidate relative to the role.
