POSITION SUMMARY
JOB DESCRIPTION: Deal cards in an honest, accurate and professional manner to Table Games Guests.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Performs dealing services at assigned tables to gaming Guests in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  2. Provides prompt, courteous and accurate dealing at assigned table.
  3. Maintains a continuous inspection of cards, ensuring the security of assigned games at all times.
  4. Exchanges guests' currency for gaming chips and deposit currency in drop box.
  5. Provides guests with assistance to ensure adherence to established rules, policies and procedures.
  6. Keeps Floor Supervisors aware of any unusual play, i.e., bet swings, possible cheats, etc.
  7. Follows without question any instructions given by supervisors.
  8. Enforces table rules and limits.
  9. Protects cards and equipment.
  10. Entertains guests while enforcing policies and procedures.
  11. Maintains knowledge of all events in the property as a whole.
  12. Attends and/or facilitates all mandatory meetings and training.
  13. Maintains confidentiality at all times.
  14. Is sensitive to Native American Culture.
  15. Operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations.
  16. Secures the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
  17. Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Must pass Leech Lake Gaming approved Dealer's Training Course; or provide documented verification of equivalent training.
  2. Good hand dexterity.
  3. Pleasant personality and excellent guest services.
  4. Basic math skills.
  5. Neat, clean and professional.
  6. Able to endure positioning and standing for long periods of time which could cause stress to mental concentration.
  7. Able to withstand positioning which can cause stress to various parts of the body.
  8. Knowledge of State Gaming Compact, Leech Lake Gaming Internal Controls and Casino house rules.
  9. Must be 18 years of age or older.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Physically capable of remaining on feet for long periods of time.
  2. Subject to internal working conditions, including a smoking environment.

EDUCATION AND SKILLS
Education Required: High School Diploma or General Education Equivalency (GED)
Experience: One to two years related experience
