Job description

Technician qualifications:

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering
  • Interested in water/wastewater industry
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Works well in a team
  • Eager to learn
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • CAD knowledge is a plus
  • GIS knowledge is a plus

The engineering technician will work closely with civil engineers who work in wastewater system design and management. Duties will include, but not limited to, data management using Excel and GIS, design drawing reviews, and some field work. This is an office position located in the Hazen Birmingham office (not remote).
