This individual will be required to develop and implement methods and procedures for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection to ensure that the products are free of flaws and function as designed. Design and install sophisticated testing equipment and perform product testing and analysis to maintain quality levels and minimize defects and failure rates. Analyze reports and defective products to determine trends and recommend corrective actions. Collaborates with supplier representatives on quality problems, ensures that effective corrective actions are implemented and contributes to supplier quality improvement programs.Impact of the RoleGeneral Profile

Essential Functions
  • Interacts with other engineering groups to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products, systems, components, or modifications.
  • Participates in final system integration and validation to identify functional problems.
  • Defines internal quality control standards and the maintenance of reliability programs.
  • Creates, documents, and analyzes the most complex test cases and provides feedback and recommendations for product or design changes.
  • Ensures testing procedures are in compliance with any required industry specific standards.
  • Identifies chronic or systemic problems in testing and develops and implements improvements to process.
  • May coordinate with vendors or suppliers to modify or develop testing for components or other parts.
    • Required Qualifications
      • Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 0-3 years' experience
      • Discipline/Major: Engineering degree required
      • Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
