What We Offer

Compensation: $18.00 – $26.00 per hour (based on experience), plus performance-based raises every six months.
About the Role

As a Cleaning Technician, you’ll play a vital role in restoring and maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of residential and commercial spaces. From carpets and upholstery to tile, air ducts, and more, your work helps transform spaces and create satisfied customers.
You’ll also have the opportunity to cross-train with our Restoration Team, learning water, mold, fire, and odor,; smoke restoration — gaining valuable skills across multiple areas of the business.
(Note: This role requires flexibility to be “on-call” for emergency response services as needed.)

Key Responsibilities

  • MUST HAVE TRUCK MOUNT AND CARPET CLEANING EXPERIENCE 
  • Operate and maintain company cleaning equipment, including truck mount operation and portable units. 
  • Report to the shop daily at 8:00 AM and travel to assigned job sites.
  • Perform professional cleaning and restoration services such as:
    • Carpet, upholstery, and floor cleaning (tile and grout & Hardwood)
    • Air Duct Cleaning / Dryer Vent Cleaning
    • Water, mold, fire, and smoke damage restoration (as assigned)
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with professionalism and clear communication.
  • Conduct pre- and post-job inspections and maintenance on vehicles and tools.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and daily logs using mobile and computer systems.
  • Represent Voda with pride — in appearance, behavior, attitude and reliability.
  • Qualifications
    Education:
    High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Basic math skills for equipment calibration and solution mixing.
    • Proficiency with technology — ability to use email, and our CRM software (Workiz) (Delightree) for scheduling and reporting. This is essential.

  • Availability: Must be flexible and willing to be “on-call” for emergency response services.
  • Other: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation a must
  • Must live within 20- 30 minutes of shop in Bernardsville NJ
  • Must have a positive, solution oriented, growth mindset that is looking for solutions in all we do
