Job Description

A Building Cleaning Worker maintains a clean, organized and healthy working environment for the organization or facility. They ensure areas of a building are sanitary, orderly and free of trash and debris.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Sweep, vacuum, mop, office floors, carpets, hallways and stairs.

  • Clean walls, glass and windows.

  • Empty trash and recycling bins.

  • Stock and maintain supply rooms, restrooms and kitchens.

  • Clean spills and other hazards with appropriate equipment

  • Clean and disinfect surfaces that are touched frequently.

  • Help with the setup and tear down of meeting spaces.
