The Cleaning Squad® is seeking an experienced Post-Construction Cleaning Supervisor to join our growing team. This position is intended for an experienced cleaning professional who has supervised crews performing post-construction, final construction, or comparable construction cleanup work.
A minimum of four (4) years of verifiable supervisory experience in post-construction cleaning or construction cleanup is required for this position.
This position also includes opportunities to work on prevailing-wage construction projects. When assigned to qualifying projects, employees will be paid the applicable prevailing wage for their classification and project location. Certain upcoming projects are expected to provide compensation substantially above the regular hourly range. 
  • Supervise cleaning crews performing post-construction cleanup on residential and commercial projects
  • Coordinate daily work assignments, crew deployment, and cleaning priorities
  • Perform and oversee rough, final, detail, and punch-list cleaning
  • Inspect completed work for quality and adherence to project specifications
  • Train and coach cleaning technicians on proper post-construction cleaning methods
  • Coordinate with company management, project managers, superintendents, and other trades as needed
  • Identify incomplete work, damage, safety concerns, and conditions affecting the cleaning scope
  • Ensure crews follow company safety procedures and jobsite requirements
  • Properly use and oversee cleaning chemicals, tools, vacuums, floor equipment, pressure-washing equipment, and other professional cleaning equipment
  • Assist with removal and handling of light construction debris and protective materials when included in project scope
  • Maintain accurate records of crew hours, project progress, and completed work
  • Perform hands-on cleaning and project work alongside the crew when necessary
Required Experience
Applicants must have:
  • At least four (4) years of professional post-construction cleaning or construction cleanup experience
  • Supervisory, foreperson, lead, or crew-management responsibilities as part of that experience
  • Experience directing or overseeing other workers performing post-construction cleanup
  • Experience with residential, commercial, tenant-improvement, remodeling, or new-construction cleanup
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning procedures for construction dust, flooring, fixtures, cabinetry, glass, walls, and finished surfaces
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify workmanship or cleaning deficiencies
  • Ability to communicate professionally with employees, clients, contractors, and project personnel
Experience Verification
Previous experience must be verifiable. Qualified applicants should be prepared to provide information regarding previous employers, contractors, supervisors, or other professional references who can confirm the applicant's employment history, job duties, supervisory responsibilities, and post-construction cleaning experience.
Applicants who cannot provide verification of the required experience may not be considered for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supervising multiple cleaners or field technicians
  • Experience working directly with general contractors or construction superintendents
  • Familiarity with construction schedules, punch lists, and project closeout
  • Experience with commercial tenant improvements and large residential projects
  • Experience operating commercial cleaning and floor-care equipment
  • OSHA or other construction safety training is a plus
