Position Overview:

As a Survey CAD Technician working with our team in Mount Laurel, NJ, you will play a crucial role in transforming field survey data into precise and comprehensive digital drawings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer-aided design (CAD), proficiency in relevant software, and the ability to collaborate with surveying teams to produce accurate and high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Convert field survey data into CAD drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant software.
  • Prepare detailed survey plats, topographic maps, and construction staking drawings.
  • Collaborate with Survey Party Chiefs and project managers to understand project requirements.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of CAD drawings, incorporating survey data and project specifications.
  • Organize and manage CAD files and project documentation in a systematic manner.
  • Assist in the resolution of technical issues related to CAD drawings and survey data.
  • Review and interpret survey field notes, sketches, and data to create accurate digital representations.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry standards and advancements in surveying CAD technology.
  • Provide support to survey teams in the interpretation and utilization of CAD drawings.
  • Collaborate with other CAD technicians and team members to maintain consistency in drafting standards.
