Job description

About us:

We are an international IT and Fulfillment Services company with offices in the US, UK, and Portugal. The Virtual Forge works with organisations to create digital and technology platforms that drive transformation, develop capabilities, and build businesses around the world. We use our software development and data analytics capabilities to provide fast, efficient, and highly integrated fulfillment solutions for our customers. This includes ordering modules, inventory management, and traceability solutions. At our Hatfield, PA fulfillment center we perform pick, pack, and ship services for a global medical device manufacturer.


We are looking for an energetic Warehouse Fulfillment Associate to pick, pack, and ship products, maintain inventory, and ensure the smooth operation of the fulfilment center. A Fulfillment Associate must be on time and able to work long hours on their feet. They must be physically capable to pack and sort products with strong attention to detail. We seek out high-performing employees who continuously improve their skills, and who can grow and advance as part of our team.


You will be based in our clean, climate controlled fulfillment center in Hatfield, PA.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive and check incoming pick tickets
  • Locate products using technology
  • Retrieve orders according to quantity, size etc. ensuring accuracy
  • Build pallets with orders and position them for pickup
  • Wrap orders before loading on trucks
  • Restock inventory manually or with warehouse equipment
  • Keep records of completed orders
  • Receive, sort, and document returns
  • Enter data within the Warehouse Management System
  • Maintain equipment and report on malfunctions
  • Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards

Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience as order picker or other warehouse position
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
  • Experience scanning inbound and outbound inventory
  • Experience performing inventory reconciliation
  • Basic computer/software knowledge
  • Able to read and write in English
  • Great attention to detail
  • Diligent and punctual
  • Good physical strength and stamina (not limited to the below examples of daily requirements):
    • Ability to lift 50lbs regularly
    • Long periods of standing
    • Ability to move around without issues
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
