Job description

Title: Greeter
Position Type: Long-term, temporary (1+ years)
Location: Hauppauge, NY
Hours: 7:30am-5:00pm

Our client is looking for light clerical, workflow associates. This state agency is responsible for administering vehicle registration and driver licensing. They offer a range of services including issuing driver’s licenses, learner permits, and non-driver identification cards. Additionally, they handle vehicle registrations, title certificates, and conduct vehicle safety inspections.
Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers
  • Screen customer paperwork
  • Manage customers in the queuing system
  • Grade vision test results
  • Enter passing vision test results into computer
  • Assist customers at kiosks
  • Take customer photos for driver's licenses
  • Proctor tests

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
