Department: Engineering

Reports To: Engineering Manager

Job Summary: The CAD/CAM Drafter is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for engineering and manufacturing purposes using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software. This role involves working closely with engineers and other team members to ensure accurate and efficient design and production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings and models based on specifications and calculations provided by engineers.
  • Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce production problems.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Maintain and update CAD/CAM files and documentation.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and company procedures.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of CAD/CAM processes and best practices.
  • Perform quality checks on completed drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
