Job description

Job Summary:
DeVine Consulting, Inc. is a leading provider of Technical and Scientific solutions for Federal, State and commercial clients. They are looking for a Cloud Engineer to support infrastructure for a government customer working in applied Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, and GIS. The role involves identifying optimal cloud solutions, developing applications, and managing cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
• Work with DeVine and customer to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions
• Plan, design and develop cloud-based applications
• Manage cloud environments in accordance with DoD security guidelines
• Deploy and debug cloud initiatives as needed in accordance with best practices throughout the development lifecycle
• Employ exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues
• Develop best practices for Cloud systems and procedures
• Automate cloud-based platforms
Qualifications:
Required:
• Current Secret Clearance or higher is required
• Only US Citizens may be considered for hire
• B.S. or B.A Degree
• 2+ years Cloud Computing experience
• 2+ years in solution development (including GIS and Cloud Migration) for DoD
Preferred:
• Security+
• CompTIA Cloud+/AWS Architect/AWS Professional preferred
• current TS/SCI preferred
