Location: Lexington, KY

Schedule: Full-Time | Part-Time | PRN | Travel Contract

The Role

We're looking for a precise, knowledgeable Compounding Pharmacist to create customized, high-quality medications for our patients. You'll be a key driver in patient care, utilizing your expertise in sterile and non-sterile compounding to deliver tailored pharmaceutical solutions safely and effectively.

What You'll Do
  • Prepare Meds: Formulate, compound, and dispense sterile and/or non-sterile preparations according to specific prescriber orders.
  • Maintain Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to USP guidelines, FDA regulations, Kentucky State Board rules, and internal QA/QC protocols.
  • Lead the Team: Supervise, train, and review the work of compounding pharmacy technicians.
  • Consult & Collaborate: Partner with doctors, veterinarians, and patients to determine optimal formulations, dosages, and administration techniques.
  • Manage Lab Operations: Oversee ingredient inventory, cleanroom maintenance, environmental monitoring, and equipment calibration.
What We're Looking For
  • Education: Pharm.D. or B.S. in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
  • License: Active, unencumbered Pharmacist license in Kentucky.
  • Experience: 1โ€“2+ years of hands-on sterile and/or non-sterile compounding experience preferred.
  • Knowledge: Deep familiarity with USP regulations.
  • Bonus: Specialty compounding certifications (PCCA, ACA, or sterile compounding credentials) are a strong plus!
