This role is part of Alcon's Manufacturing function, a team that designs, produces and delivers innovative eyecare products to more than 140 countries through operational excellence and efficiency.

The CLC Compounding Manager is primarily responsible for leading a team to ensure productivity and alignment with departmental goals. You will plan, direct, and monitor production activities, liaise with various departments, manage production line maintenance, and ensure a safe work environment. Leadership, time management, communication, and team coordination skills are essential to drive operational efficiency and team performance at our Manufacturing Facility in Fort Worth, TX. Specifics Include:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring productivity and alignment with departmental objectives.

  • Plan, direct, and monitor production activities to meet specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards.

  • Liaise with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply & Logistics, Sales, and other departments to develop production schedules and allocate labor/capital resources.

  • Foster a culture of excellence by leading performance management, driving talent development, ensuring positive associate relations, enhancing associate engagement, recognizing achievements, and driving a strong safety culture.

  • Plan, prioritize, and manage production line maintenance and downtime to minimize disruptions.

  • Lead or participate in quality investigations and deliver continuous improvement.

  • Ensure a safe work environment and develop pipeline talent.

  • Make operational decisions impacting team performance and operational efficiency.

  • All associates must adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training.

  • Associates are responsible for meeting their individual job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance of the organization.

  • Compliance with regulatory requirements and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential to our operations.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs; PhD+1 yr)

  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English

  • 5 Years of relevant experience

  • 3 Years of demonstrated leadership

  • Location: Onsite
