Job description

DUTIES & SCOPE:
    • Previous experience in compliance, workforce administration, licensing, HR, or construction administration preferred.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Experience working in a construction environment is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Partner with the San Diego Compliance team to support project-specific compliance requirements.
  • Assist new hires who are eligible for Iowa Journeyman license reciprocity and guide them through the application process.
  • Track and monitor license applications, approvals, renewals, and expiration dates.
  • Manage the Journeyman Referral Bonus Program, including tracking referrals, eligibility requirements, and payouts.
  • Maintain accurate employee licensing and certification records.
  • Communicate with employees, licensing agencies, and internal stakeholders regarding licensing requirements and deadlines.
  • Generate reports and provide regular updates on licensing status, compliance metrics, and referral program activity.
  • Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained in accordance with company procedures.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Based on an active construction job site.
  • Requires frequent interaction with employees, field leadership, and compliance personnel.
  • Ability to walk long distances across large construction sites.
  • Ability to work in loud and active construction environments while adhering to all site safety requirements.
  • Ability to stand and sit for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • May require occasional outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
  • Must be able to move throughout the job site to meet with employees and conduct compliance-related activities.

The starting base pay for this role is between USD $25.00 and $30.00 per hour. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: location, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The role may also be eligible for bonus and benefits.
