Job overview:

Schneider is seeking a Compliance Manager in Green Bay to lead the Regulatory team and oversee regulatory processes across the enterprise. The Compliance Manager will ensure compliance with federal regulations in conjunction with the Human Resources, Legal and Safety departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct the work of a team of associates and provide coaching to encourage high performance.
  • Oversee Schneider's driver Department of Transportation (DOT) qualification file management processes.
  • Lead Schneider's citation program to ensure compliance with state requirements.
  • Manage Schneiders Hours of Service Hotline to ensure the team has the tools needed to document driver calls and edit drivers record of duty status logs.
  • Lead the DOT and California Terminal audit process to ensure a satisfactory rating is achieved for each terminal audit.
  • Understand the business impact of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations.
  • Update and develop procedures and process documents.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and operational areas to provide training on new and/or updated regulations.
