We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support missioncritical public health applications for Newborn Screening (NBS) and Environmental Health programs. This role serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring systems meet operational, regulatory, and data integrity requirements.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in business and systems analysis within public health or healthcare environments. As a senior-level resource, you will lead requirements efforts, support complex system enhancements, oversee testing activities, and provide guidance to other analysts on the team.
These applications are essential for tracking resources, producing reports, and ensuring compliance. This role is critical to maintaining system reliability, improving automated processes, and supporting high-quality public health services.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement- Lead requirements-gathering sessions with program stakeholders supporting Newborn Screening and Environmental Health initiatives
- Serve as the primary liaison between business units and IT teams
- Conduct gap analysis and recommend system and process improvements
- Provide application and functional oversight to other business analysts
- Develop and maintain:
- Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
- Functional specifications
- User stories and acceptance criteria
- Analyze and document endtoend workflows, including:
- Newborn Screening specimen lifecycle and followup processes
- Environmental sample collection, testing, and reporting workflows
- Support and enhance:
